By registering, participating, or submitting any codebase to the Evorozen Apex Buildathon, all individual developers, teams, and entities legally agree to abide by the following comprehensive terms, technical mandates, and distribution agreements. Failure to comply with any single clause will result in immediate disqualification.

SECTION 1: TIMELINE & MILESTONE COMPLIANCE

Time is the ultimate metric of a founder. We operate on strict, non-negotiable deadlines.

  • 1.1 Inception Phase (July 17, 2026): All architectural planning, repository initialization, and active coding must commence on or after this date. Any repository showing commits prior to this date will trigger an auto-disqualification.

  • 1.2 Submission Window (September 15 - September 20, 2026): The portal opens for final project delivery. You must submit your live application URL, GitHub repository, and video demonstration within this window.

  • 1.3 The Hard Cutoff: The deadline is September 20, 2026, at 11:45 PM (PKT). Submissions timestamped at 11:46 PM will not be reviewed.

SECTION 2: THE CORE ENGINE MANDATE (NEURAL PULSE VIRTUAL DB)

This is not a generic hackathon where you can glue together random wrappers. The absolute core of your product must be powered by the Evorozen Neural Pulse API.

  • 2.1 The Virtual Database Architecture: Traditional apps rely on heavy, static backend schemas (like standard SQL or NoSQL databases) for data retrieval. The Neural Pulse API replaces this archaic system. It operates as an Intelligent Virtual Database. You are required to use our API to dynamically structure, store, retrieve, and process your application’s cognitive data and logic routing on the fly.

  • 2.2 Allowed Tech Stacks: We highly encourage modern, clean front-end architectures (e.g., Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS) that mirror a premium, minimalist design aesthetic. You may use external providers (like Supabase or Firebase) strictly for standard user authentication (login/signup), but the core brain, memory, and data-processing logic of your app must flow exclusively through the Neural Pulse Virtual DB.

  • 2.3 Efficiency Metric: Judges will inspect your backend calls. Projects that use the Neural Pulse API efficiently (low latency, high logic complexity) will score significantly higher than those using it for basic, shallow queries.

SECTION 3: THE APEX DISTRIBUTION & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AGREEMENT

We are here to scale real businesses, and that requires a mutually beneficial ecosystem.

  • 3.1 Evorozen Ecosystem Licensing: By submitting your product, you retain ownership of your frontend code. However, you grant Evorozen Inc. an irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive right to feature, showcase, index, and potentially integrate the underlying logic, model structure, or use-case of your application into the official Evorozen platform and marketing materials.

  • 3.2 The Scaling Partnership (Top 5 Directive): We do not restrict our winners; we scale them. The Top 5 winning startups will enter a mandatory strategic distribution partnership. Evorozen will officially link, promote, and route our high-volume, enterprise-tier web traffic directly to your application. In exchange, your application becomes an official "Powered by Evorozen" partner, driving mutual growth and user acquisition for both entities.

SECTION 4: USER ACQUISITION & THE "PROOF OF WORK" PROTOCOL

A product without users is just a local script. We evaluate founders based on their ability to sell.

  • 4.1 Active User Requirement: Your application must be deployed live on the internet. You must present verifiable analytics (via your dashboard or video demo) showing real, active users interacting with your product during the 60-day sprint.

  • 4.2 The Marketing Mandate: You are legally required to document your build journey publicly. You must publish a minimum of three (3) high-quality posts across at least two distinct platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Reddit, etc.):

    • Phase 1 Post: Announcing the problem you are solving and your commitment to the Evorozen Buildathon.

    • Phase 2 Post: A technical breakdown of how you are utilizing the Neural Pulse API as your Virtual Database.

    • Phase 3 Post: Your final launch announcement demonstrating your user acquisition. (You must submit the direct URLs to these three posts in your Devpost submission form).
